I am an artist who loves drawing above all else.  I have maintained a weekly discipline of drawing from the model for thirty years.  In recent years I have added collage to the mix for more interest and texture.  I've sourced these papers overseas in flea markets and second hand book shops and this has become an important part of my process.


I believe that art should be uplifting and soulful and I'm sure my influences, specifically Matisse, Degas, Bonnard, Diebenkorn and Margaret Woodward would agree.  I admire good draughtsmanship and aspire to the same in my work.


I am grateful and honoured to have art in my life.  It has opened my eyes to the beauty around me and given me a passionate interest.


My aim is to advance my research into the drawing/collage combination which is of interest to me at the moment.  I'll follow down this path and see where it leads me.
